ABOUT US.......

As a training club we have been established for close on 40 years. We are affiliated to the Kennel Union of SA, and as such abide by their constitution. We are also affiliated to the Amanzimtoti Sports Centre and are proud to call this our training home. We train on the field in front of the Lords and Legends restaurant on a Tuesday evening, with the puppy class starting at 5:30pm, and the rest of the classes starting at 6:30pm. The trainers are all volunteers, and are handlers who compete in dog shows.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE K9 GOOD  CITIZEN COURSE

The K9 Good Citizen course is designed to do what the name implies……create a well adjusted, good mannered and well behaved member of the doggy society, which you can be proud of in any situation. The course runs for 10 weeks finishing with a test on the last week.  

HOUSE HOLD OBEDIENCE TRAINING

This continues the training in a similar vein to the Canine Class, with the emphasis on having fun with your dog, as well as improving it’s manners and training skills.  You will be introduced to dog-jumping and scent work as well.

KUSA REGULATED SHOW TRAINING

If you find that the bug has bitten you, we offer a class that will fine-tune your learnt skill to a point tha you can start entering and competing in Obedience, or Working Trials, or even showing your dog in Breed Classes.
